Introduction.
You know when your REALLY love something, how time flies by and you forget what time it is? Often forgeting meals or commitments or even sleep… well that’s what happens to me when I’m writing or designing. It’s a magic place I refer to as being ‘in the zone’. And there’s no place I’d rather be (except on a mountain somewhere in Nepal).
People often don’t understand about being in the zone, how you can get things done much more quickly, how nearly everything seems to happen easily and precisely and you can remember everything you need to know to accomplish your task. Everything else just fades away, and your focus is pure.
Trouble is, it takes a while to get into this zone, sometimes hours. And something as simple as a phone call, or someone asking if you want a coffee – to break the spell and you have to start all over again.
Meet Michael – he prefers Mick – an engaging and nomadic soul, a lover of festivals, a mountain-climber, a seeker of light, with decades of exploration under his belt.
A country boy with an [arguably] misspent youth immersed in Melbourne’s electric, eclectic charm. Its cultural tapestry, its Theosophical Society, its retro markets, sticky-carpet blues dives, reggae bars and avant-garde jazz hangouts provided a good grounding in life.
He worked dead-end jobs for too many years before six months of outback travel led to living beachside in the sunshine state where a hard-won degree thrust him into an unexpected creative career.
A return to Melbourne preceded time in India being cut short by lock-downs, and circumstances thrust him into building a mobile office/chariot, and beginning an ongoing (and current) rural adventure.
An avid lover of music, food and philosophy, he’s also a master of words, and of slow travel.
With a passport, a laptop, and a coffee in hand, he loathes ignorance, seeks self-improvement, ponders world affairs and his forthcoming international travels, all while relishing the unpredictability of life. The story is far from finished.
If you’re ready to take the next step, say hello today.
